Three steps

How to convert PNG to JPG

No sign-up, no watermark, no upload.

  1. Add your PNG files

Drag them onto the panel or browse your device. Up to eight files can be staged at once, and nothing is uploaded — the files stay in this tab.

  2. Convert to JPG

JPG export runs entirely in your browser. The work happens on your own device, so there is no queue, no server round trip and no account to create.

  3. Save the JPG

A single file downloads automatically; a batch gives you a Save all button so your browser does not block the burst of downloads. The original PNG file is left untouched.

Common questions

PNG to JPG questions

What happens to transparent areas?

They are filled with solid white. JPG has no alpha channel, so anything see-through has to become opaque — white is the safest neutral choice and avoids the black background some tools produce.

How much smaller will the file be?

For photos and screenshots, typically 60 to 90 percent smaller. Graphics with large flat colour areas shrink less, and occasionally a small PNG is already smaller than its JPG.

How much quality is lost?

The export uses 92 percent JPEG quality, which is visually indistinguishable from the original in most photographs. Always convert from the original PNG rather than re-converting an earlier JPG — lossy artifacts compound.

Is anything sent to a server?

No. Everything happens in this tab, and the JPG downloads directly to your device.
